RS19 Rosso Radikon, biodynamic red wine, Merlot and Pignoli, stunning new blend from Sasa Radikon, rich yet fresh, like Claret but with more style and natural vibrancy!
"RS" by Radikon is a red wine with great energy, power and vitality, produced from Merlot and Pignolo with spontaneous fermentation and maturation in big barrels for 18 months. An intense volatile bouquet, with hints of wild berries, sweet spices, herbs and coffee, animates an intense, vibrant, juicy, fresh taste with well-structured tannins.

Producers notes
Oslavia is a hilly area with a very favourable climate for the development of the screw. The vineyards of (about 12 ha) are located on steep slopes, typical of the Collio Gorizia, with optimal exposures to the South, South-East. On this type of land most of the works are carried out by hand.
The soil is mainly constituted by "ponca". This type of clay in the deeper layers of the soil is very compact and resembles a rock, but as soon as it comes into contact with some corrosion factor (air, water, ...) loses consistency once again becoming loose clays.
The new plants have very high densities (7000-10000 screws hectare) and in this way the screw in slight stress produces fewer grapes, but of higher quality. Then allow only 4-5 bunches per plant, which, along with an appropriate stripping, to maintain the right amount of sun, minerals and other nutrients to the clusters.
