One of the more remarkable winemakers currently working in Tasmania, Anna Pooley’s wines are pure, energetic renditions of Tasmanian Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Though look out also for the beautiful Pooley Pinot Grigio. The original vineyard was planted in 1985 by Margaret and Denis Pooley and today remains a passionate family affair with Anna’s brother Matt working alongside her as viticulturist.
The wines are meticulously crafted showing great vineyard and varietal integrity. With those thrilling Tassie acids working their magic and making for truly engaging wines to drink now, though they also age beautifully.
