Ghostgum Pinot Noir has no shortage of aromatic complexity. Dark cherry, raspberry, crushed rose petal, coco powder, orange peel and some whole bunch lift. It is elegant, perfumed, and floral.
PALATE
The wine is mid-weight with a lively palate, showing sweet red fruits, white pepper, amaro character, and a richness that is well balanced with fresh acidity. With time, this wine will continue to unfurl and become even more characterful.

Southern Light Vineyards craft small quantities of premium wines that are pure, handmade expressions of variety and vintage. The first release comes from their vineyard, Ghostgum. Perched atop Main Ridge in Boon Wurrung Country, Ghostgum is one of the highest elevation vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula, planted between 1990 and 2021. Here, they farm 15 acres of pinot noir and chardonnay on a gentle, eastfacing slope.
