Santa Duc Les Plans Vin de Pays de Vaucluse 2017 - Rhone Valley
Bottle size: 750ml

This wine should in reality be labelled a Cote du Rhone but because of the addition of small amounts of Merlot and Cabernet, which are not allowed in the Cote du Rhone appellation, it takes the less rigorously regulated 'Vins de Pays de Vaucluse' name instead.
It’s made by Santa Duc one of the greatest wine producers in the Rhone Valley [and in all of France], especially known for their stunning biodynamic grenache-based Gigondas wines.
100% biodynamic/organic, wild yeast fermented with minimal sulphur added, expressing the care and attention Santa Duc wines receive in the vineyards and the winery. It’s mid-weight leaning towards full, packed with juicy, delicious dark berry fruit like mulberry, cherry kirsch, blackberry and rich plum tinged with notes of violets, wild herbs, spice and gentle savoury/earthy complexity. A consistently brilliant French table wine, year after year. Crazily good for the money! CR
The story continues. An expertise unique in Gigondas, extended also to the single parcel selections of Châteauneuf-du-Pape – La Crau Ouest, Les Saintes Vierges, Le Pied de Baud, Habemus Papam, allow Benjamin to reveal the qualities that are essential in a great wine: balance, elegance, purity and depth. Only natural for a family of winemakers born at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail hills, whose splendor and natural beauty are a daily source of creative inspiration.
Delivery is currently free of charge for both straight and mixed cases Australia Wide. (*excludes remote postcodes in WA and NT) (*excludes fundraising orders)
In most instances, a case is 12 bottles, including all mixed cases. Please note that the case quantity can vary between 3-12 bottles, depending on individual wine value and packaging configuration.
The number of bottles that define a straight case is marked in the product pricing page (i.e. "as part of any 6", "single bottle" and "3 or 6 or 12 bottle case").
Where all or part of the order is less than a case (as defined in the product pricing options, or 12 bottles if mixed) shipping will be charged as per your postcode at our cost price, this charge amount will be visible before your order confirmation and payment.
For example, a mixed bottle order of 18 bottles will include a freight charge for the second mixed case of only 6 bottles. A mixed 24 bottle order would be totally freight free.
