Logan is a family owned and operated winery located in the NSW Central Ranges (Orange and Mudgee). The business is run by Peter Logan and his wife, Hannah, - a young, energetic husband and wife team. Peter handles the winemaking and Hannah runs the business. Logan’s wine making philosophy is to combine soft, rich Australian fruit character with an elegance, structure and savouriness more common in European wines.
To achieve this they have grapes at three different altitudes - 600 metres in Mudgee, 850 and 1,000 metres in Orange. The higher vineyards, being amongst the coldest in Australia, produce delicately balanced fruit but as these vineyards also experience amongst the highest amount of sunshine hours of any Australian grape growing region, they also achieve powerful fruit flavours.
