Fresh fruit and floral aromas dominate the nose and palate; white peach, lemon zest, pear, granny smith apple and citrus blossoms. PALATE The oak influence creates a nice mid-palate that balances nicely with the bright acidity that lingers. 70% barrel fermented, 30% stainless steel fermented, 70% Malolactic fermentation. Aged sur lie for 7 months in 20% new French oak.

The 2020 Chardonnay Katherine's Vineyard is bright and wonderfully saline, with plenty of mineral and savory accents. Citrus peel, mint, white pepper, chalk and dried fl owers open nicely with a bit of time. There's terrifi c energy and plenty of cut. Most of this fruit is sourced from the own-rooted vines fi rst planted in 1971.
