Whatever is in the water up there at Spring Farm? Adelina is in great form, and Col and Jen's newest releases offer more of the same. It's an equal blend of Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon sourced from organic vines in the Clare's Polish Hill River. Lovely sweet fruit and powdery tannins to close, Gary Walsh's notes below sum up the rest nicely. Col fills in the winemaking specs: "Hand-picked, de-stemmed, 50% crushed, 50% not crushed. Varieties fermented separately, macerated for 7 days, pressed separately, settled racked and blended. 7 months neutral French barrique. This iteration has no sulphur added."

"From an organically grown vineyard in the Polish Hill River sub-region, 50/50 split on the varieties, old oak. A new wine for Adelina. Intense raspberry/blackcurrant, mocha, violet and fresh crushed leaf perfume. Medium-bodied, but dense and compact, a welcome mat of thick silty tannin, sweet small berries, crunch of fresh blackberry acidity, all gravel and tannin to close. Ripe length. What a debut!"

Producers notes

We are a small vineyard and winery in the Springfarm sub-region of Clare, set amongst one of the most historically relevant winery and vineyards in Australia. We have small plantings of well established Shiraz, Grenache and Pedro Ximenez, also recently established Shiraz and Mataro. We also work with a very small group of growers in Clare and the Adelaide Hills whom grow fruit for our non-estate wines. The winery is rustic in a sense of mod-cons and mechanisation, where the most elaborate piece of equipment would be the coffee machine.

Shipping

Delivery is currently free of charge for both straight and mixed cases Australia Wide. (*excludes remote postcodes in WA and NT) (*excludes fundraising orders)

In most instances, a case is 12 bottles, including all mixed cases. Please note that the case quantity can vary between 3-12 bottles, depending on individual wine value and packaging configuration.

The number of bottles that define a straight case is marked in the product pricing page (i.e. "as part of any 6", "single bottle" and "3 or 6 or 12 bottle case").

Where all or part of the order is less than a case (as defined in the product pricing options, or 12 bottles if mixed) shipping will be charged as per your postcode at our cost price, this charge amount will be visible before your order confirmation and payment.

For example, a mixed bottle order of 18 bottles will include a freight charge for the second mixed case of only 6 bottles. A mixed 24 bottle order would be totally freight free.

Our intention is to offer free shipping to as many wine lovers as possible, however, given the geographically vast size of Australia, it is not possible for us to offer free shipping to 100% of postcodes. For estimated delivery times and further information see here. If you have any additional questions, please email us on sales@wineexperience.com.au or call us on 1300 55 44 35
