Seductively heady aromas of rose petals, dried cranberry and bright crunchy red cherries. Dried thyme, roasted coffee bean, and just a faint wisp of candle smoke gradually reveal themselves. The palate envelops the senses with a plush layer of powdery fine tannin, gently guiding towards a core of dark plum and chocolate dipped cherries. A spark of bright acidity illuminates the mid palate, carrying through to a finish that lingers long past the last sip.

From two vineyard sites in the Pisa subregion and one in Bannockburn. Intensely fruity wine with plum, cherry, thyme, spice and nutty oak flavours. Accessible now but with the potential to develop with bottle age.

A beautiful fragrance of cherry and spicy plum opens on the nose. Dig further and lots of cherry ripe, plum and a trace of anise. The palate is medium bodied with excellent structure. Has a chalky, slightly powdery tannin thread which focuses the palate through to its very long finish.
