‘Pra' has been a respected benchmark producer of quality Soave for decades, creating lovely, mouth-watering renditions that speak loudly of the grape variety Garganega and of the hillside sites near Verona in Northern Italy that produce this iconic style of Italian dry white. The 2022 ‘Otto' is a cracker! It is bristling with upbeat energy showing tangy white peach, lime and green apple fruit with tingling mineral notes and subtle milled cashew nutty overtones, so typical of Italian dry whites. It’s a frisky lovely dry Soave that will compliment an array of dishes from seafood, risotto, veal scaloppini and mild Italian cheese. This is really good…!
