AIX Rosé is the result of dedication and passion. When drinking this wine you will notice a tremendously vibrant and summery taste - the ultimate expression of Provence. AIX has a bright, pale pink colour and has a delicate balance of crisp acidity and soft, ripe summer fruit.

"This wine has the richness characteristic of Aix-en-Provence. Ripe red fruits, layers of intense acidity and tangy texture come together to make a wine that is packed with fruitiness as well as great freshness. Drink this full-bodied wine from late 2018."  Roger Voss - Wine Enthusiast Magazine

Our notes

AIX is a superb choice for any event, and the perfect match for canapés, seafood and lazy sundays.  This is without a doubt our most popular premium French rose.

A gold medal again for AIX Rosé at the Mondial du Rosé 2018, the biggest rosé wine contest.

Very light coral-pink colour, attractive, and the bouquet is fresh and clean, showing fresh herb and dried flower aromas, the palate light and dry with good depth of fruit flavour that finishes clean, dry and savoury. It has length and balance and is quite moreish. An appetising dry rosé. The Real Review, 16 October, 2020

Nicely balanced, fine and delicate on the nose and palate, a vibrant rosé lifted with pink florals, raspberry, ripe stone fruit and wild herb flavours on the palate. Fresh and lively with mouth-watering acidity suitable for food. Chill and enjoy with grilled shellfish or wild salmon dishes. Rosé food pairing suggestions: endives and ham in Mornay (white) sauce, chicken a la king, tagliatelle with ham. 92/100 Natalie Maclean - World Food Media Awards 2020

Producers notes

Maison Saint Aix, situated just north of Aix-En Provence, France. Also known as the “Paris” from southern France. World famous for its superb Rosé wines. Rosé wines produced in the Coteaux-D’Aix-En-Provence region were the first and most appreciated in the world. Literally, it is Aix-En-Provence were the Rosé wine was born. That fact inspired AIX to produce an award winning top class Rosé and that is why AIX refers to the city of Aix-En-Provence.

The Brand: Spiritually, the brand AIX is related to the wonderful character of the mandarin duck, which is named Aix Galericulata in Latin. In traditional Chinese culture, mandarin ducks represent a life-time couple, unlike many other species of ducks. For thousands of years, they symbolise happiness in love and is suggestive of romance, devotion, affection, conjugal fidelity, togetherness and enduring love.

The spiritual symbol of AIX can be found on the AIX label, showing a couple of mandarin ducks pictured in a red Chinese lucky pattern.

The AIX brand therefore also symbolises the remembrance about the most essential things in life – enduring friendship and love.
