Yabby Lake Single Vineyard Pinot Gris 2023 - Mornington Peninsula
Closure: Screw cap
Bottle size: 750ml
Yabby Lake can do no wrong when it comes to making stand-out wines. This pinot gris is no exception. It’s refined and fresh with bright fruit aromas and a delicate floral lift. Winemaker Tom Carson lets the fruit do the talking, and talk it does. This gris is seamless and refreshing with great depth of fruit flavour and a long, clean finish. Wonderfully versatile, it will work its magic next to seafood, tomato based pasta dishes or a good aged cheddar.
The palate is finely textured with crisp nashi pear and a subtle hint of spice, framed by a clean and lingering minerality. Seamless and refreshing, the wine finishes long and fine.
Our philosophy is to craft single-vineyard wines of great purity and character, reflective of our site and the season in which it was grown. It's the attention and care in the vineyard that is most critical to allowing this expression.

Producers notes
Inspired by the classic wines of Burgundy, Yabby Lake Vineyard wines are a tribute to the unique Mornington Peninsula terroir, and the skills and experience of winemakers Tod Dexter and Larry McKenna.
Their collaborative approach to winemaking, combined with Yabby Lake Vineyard's long-term commitment to producing the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, have resulted in the creation of some remarkable wines.
In 2013 the country's most coveted red wine trophy was awarded to a Pinot Noir for the first time in its 52-year history. The Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy was awarded to Yabby Lake Block 1 Pinot Noir 2012, from Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, at the Royal Melbourne Wine Awards.
