Just beautiful Fiano, another cracker release.
Pale yellow in colour, aromas of fresh citrus, apricot and white peach. On the palate, it’s textural and fresh and with morish lemon pith minerality. The wine has plenty of energy and finishes dry. Yum. Scott
Fiano is a grape variety on the rise. With its roots in the warm, southern Italian region of Campania, Fiano has been planted enthusiastically in Australia as a ‘climate change variety’ for its ability to retain fresh crisp acidity and chalky minerality in warm climates. Fiano tends to produce medium to full bodied wines with lovely citrus, floral and stone fruits characters. Perhaps in texture and weight it is most similar to a modern Chardonnay, sans the oak. Whatever way you want to describe Fiano, they tend to be fresh and complex wines that are delicious to drink by themselves or with a wide range of foods.
The Wine Experience Fiano has quickly become a store favourite! Highly recommended by the entire Wine Experience team.
Here we showcase premium regions such at the Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills and Heathcote in Victoria. Like the Winemaker Series, these wines are made by leading winemakers, although due to our unique agreement, we can’t reveal their identity on the label.
When sourcing these wines, the tasting panel is looking for something special to delight our customers with.
Delivery is currently free of charge for both straight and mixed cases Australia Wide. (*excludes remote postcodes in WA and NT) (*excludes fundraising orders)
In most instances, a case is 12 bottles, including all mixed cases. Please note that the case quantity can vary between 3-12 bottles, depending on individual wine value and packaging configuration.
The number of bottles that define a straight case is marked in the product pricing page (i.e. "as part of any 6", "single bottle" and "3 or 6 or 12 bottle case").
Where all or part of the order is less than a case (as defined in the product pricing options, or 12 bottles if mixed) shipping will be charged as per your postcode at our cost price, this charge amount will be visible before your order confirmation and payment.
For example, a mixed bottle order of 18 bottles will include a freight charge for the second mixed case of only 6 bottles. A mixed 24 bottle order would be totally freight free.
Our intention is to offer free shipping to as many wine lovers as possible, however, given the geographically vast size of Australia, it is not possible for us to offer free shipping to 100% of postcodes.
