Very fresh bouquet with notes of citrus and white fleshed-fruit. Fresh and supple, the wine is marked by mineral notes that are typical of the appellation.
Our notes
This is benchmark Chablis!
An expressive and airy nose reflects notes of mineral reduction, green fruit and plenty of citrus influence. There is slightly better density and a more attractive texture to the delicious flavors that flash good minerality on the dry, balanced and moderately firm finish. This is worth a look for its level. 89-91 points, 10 Oct 2021, Drink: 2025+, Issue: 84, Outstanding Top value, Burghound
A little more lemon with lime in colour, and a more complete expression of Chablis on the nose, marine minerals alongside the fruit. A fresh lime note comes through on the palate along with the marine character, impeccable balance and very good length. 88-90 points, June 2021, Jasper Morris – insideburbundy.com
Derived from 46 hectares of holdings that average around 45 years old, Fèvre’s 2020 Chablis Village is a rare example of a cuvée that combines quantity and quality. Offering up aromas of white flowers, clear honey, bread dough and fresh pastry, it’s medium-bodied, saline and seamless, with bright acids and a fine-boned, elegant but intensely flavored profile. 90 points, Drink: 2021 - 2035, Issue: 22 July 2022 William Kelley – Wine Advocate robertparker.com

Producers notes
One of the greatest domaines in Chablis. Founded by William Fevre in 1957, its vineyard holdings include 12 hectares of premier cru and 16 hectares of Grand Cru vines. The domaines fruit is harvested by hand, a rarity in Chablis, and rigorously sorted at the winery to ensure the highest quality. In recent times the amount of new oak used has been cut back and today the average age of the barrels in the cellar is five years. From the Petit Chablis to the domaines six Grand Cru wines, the quality is superb and the range from Domaine William Fevre is a benchmark for the wines of the region.
