‘Someone asked me the other day something to the tune of ‘who are the next generation of newer generation producers who will truly create a legacy in Australian wine … I would put Ravensworth and Bryan Martin firmly in the list. No misses from him. Building a formidable argument to prestige.’  - Mike Bennie, The Wine Front

This is a truly exciting wine! Drop dead gorgeous to sniff on and drink and extremely limited. The quintessence of medium weight high quality cool climate shiraz in Australia. Just a beautiful beautiful wine…

Made by Canberra winemaking guru Bryan Martin who also makes the wines at Clonakilla, Ravensworth Shiraz Viognier has appropriately gained the nickname of ‘Baby Clonakilla, although happily it is more affordable.

"Winemaker Bryan Martin knows a thing or two about making shiraz and viognier marry well. A reliable source of high quality Canberra District’s halo wine style. All that experience at Clonakilla ain’t for nuttin’. This is a beauty, but then again, the recent history of this wine speaks for itself. It’s a highly perfumed release, indeed, a striking feature is just how much scent comes off a glass, all pretty, floral, rose hip tea and red cherry, that blueberry thing Canberra does, fennel and brambles in the mix. The palate is satiny, long, sleek, slightly puckering as it luxuriates in its lingering sweet-spicy finish. It’s one for those who like understated yet elegant shiraz expressions, and something t

Shipping

Delivery is currently free of charge for both straight and mixed cases Australia Wide. (*excludes remote postcodes in WA and NT) (*excludes fundraising orders)

In most instances, a case is 12 bottles, including all mixed cases. Please note that the case quantity can vary between 3-12 bottles, depending on individual wine value and packaging configuration.

The number of bottles that define a straight case is marked in the product pricing page (i.e. "as part of any 6", "single bottle" and "3 or 6 or 12 bottle case").

Where all or part of the order is less than a case (as defined in the product pricing options, or 12 bottles if mixed) shipping will be charged as per your postcode at our cost price, this charge amount will be visible before your order confirmation and payment.

For example, a mixed bottle order of 18 bottles will include a freight charge for the second mixed case of only 6 bottles. A mixed 24 bottle order would be totally freight free.

Our intention is to offer free shipping to as many wine lovers as possible, however, given the geographically vast size of Australia, it is not possible for us to offer free shipping to 100% of postcodes.
