"The 2017 Chianti Classico is supple, racy and inviting, with striking textural depth and phenomenal balance. Succulent dark cherry fruit gives the 2017 much of its immediacy and appeal. Silky, plush and exceptionally harmonious, the 2017 captures all of the natural radiance of the year. Sweet floral and spice notes add lift to this sophisticated, beautifully polished Chianti Classico from Montesecondo. Quite simply, this is a phenomenal wine for the vintage. 2020 - 2037. ” - Antonio Galloni, ViNOUS 94 Points

Producers notes

Striving for the balance of the plants and the earth, we think of the winery as a living organism that encloses vital strengths that are not limited to a system of production.

working in harmony with the earth we are able to allow the wines to fully express their territory. Even though the work of winemaking requires human intervention, we can speak of a “natural” transformation, during which nothing is removed and nothing is added.
In its infinite complexity and changeability, lies the mystery: the beauty of wine. The wine comes from two vineyards which have the same type of grapes but are different due to the climate, the soil and exposure to the sun. The first is positioned in a lower area, with clay and marl soil which produces warmer, more mature and fleshy wines. The other, located at 500 meters above sea level, where the soil is prevalently limestone and drains well, produces wines that are fresh and crisp, with a more pronounced acidity.” Silvio Messana

Shipping

Delivery is currently free of charge for both straight and mixed cases Australia Wide. (*excludes remote postcodes in WA and NT) (*excludes fundraising orders)

In most instances, a case is 12 bottles, including all mixed cases. Please note that the case quantity can vary between 3-12 bottles, depending on individual wine value and packaging configuration.

The number of bottles that define a straight case is marked in the product pricing page (i.e. "as part of any 6", "single bottle" and "3 or 6 or 12 bottle case").

Where all or part of the order is less than a case (as defined in the product pricing options, or 12 bottles if mixed) shipping will be charged as per your postcode at our cost price, this charge amount will be visible before your order confirmation and payment.

For example, a mixed bottle order of 18 bottles will include a freight charge for the second mixed case of only 6 bottles. A mixed 24 bottle order would be totally freight free.

Our intention is to offer free shipping to as many wine lovers as possible, however, given the geographically vast size of Australia, it is not possible for us to offer free shipping to 100% of postcodes. For estimated delivery times and further information see here. If you have any additional questions, please email us on sales@wineexperience.com.au or call us on 1300 55 44 35
