An italian variety, grown extensively on the island of sardinia and also further north in Liguria. This Vermentino is lighter in alcohol with citrus and salty characteristics. Fruit sourced from the Kelly vineyard just North of Margaret River.

Bright lemon and jasmine on the nose and a typical touch of saltiness on the palate. Light and fresh. Summer in a glass!

From a sandy site on the fringe of Yallingup. LS Merchants pushing boundaries with interpretations of Margaret River wines. Wild ferment, half to barrel, half to tank. Sparkling clear colour. Crisp and clean white, lightly saline, lightly chalky, those two things dominating factors in this quite-delicate but very racy and fresh feel. Bristles with zestiness, brisk across the palate, rapier-thrust then squeaky to close. Summery white personified.

Producers notes

LS MERCHANTS is a small batch winemaking operation on a micro scale, conceived in the Margaret River area with such small product1ion that many of the wines initially being drunk by the winemaking crew. Since 2015 production has increased and although availability is still small, the wines are now more readily available.

Winemaker Dylan uses some pretty interesting varieties like Touriga Nacional and Vermentino [Carl says it’s the best Vermentino he has ever tried!], sometimes only 2 or 3 barrels, crafted with minimal intervention and a lot of quirky experimentation.

Shipping

Delivery is currently free of charge for both straight and mixed cases Australia Wide. (*excludes remote postcodes in WA and NT) (*excludes fundraising orders)

In most instances, a case is 12 bottles, including all mixed cases. Please note that the case quantity can vary between 3-12 bottles, depending on individual wine value and packaging configuration.

The number of bottles that define a straight case is marked in the product pricing page (i.e. "as part of any 6", "single bottle" and "3 or 6 or 12 bottle case").

Where all or part of the order is less than a case (as defined in the product pricing options, or 12 bottles if mixed) shipping will be charged as per your postcode at our cost price, this charge amount will be visible before your order confirmation and payment.

For example, a mixed bottle order of 18 bottles will include a freight charge for the second mixed case of only 6 bottles. A mixed 24 bottle order would be totally freight free.

Our intention is to offer free shipping to as many wine lovers as possible, however, given the geographically vast size of Australia, it is not possible for us to offer free shipping to 100% of postcodes.
