Hoi Polloi - A wine for the masses, the common people. Who said orange wine has to be fancy. This new addition to the LSM family is a skin fermented sauv blanc, gewurztraminer and pinot gris blend. It spent 14 days on skins with daily plunging, fermented with naturally occurring yeast and no additions made bar some SO2 pre bottling. It was unfined and unfiltered going into the bottle. If you have not had many orange wines before this is the perfect way to start, beautifully balanced phenolics with notes of blood orange rind, ginger spice and orange blossom.

LS was conceived by Dylan whilst working at Juniper Estate in the Willyabrup sub region of Margaret River. Working with such high quality fruit and amazing winemakers gave Dylan the desire to put his own stamp on something. Eventually we bought some fruit and the LS journey began in 2015!
The wines are made with minimal intervention, wild fermentation where possible and a lot of experimentation; the former to express the varietal characters, the latter to push the boundaries of conventional winemaking and produce interesting and enticing styles.
Our aim is to have fun making interesting styles of wine, explore the different sub regions in the south west, throw a dinner party here and there and get involved with other people pushing the realms of food and wine.

Cases are also delivered free of charge, as are any subsequent bottles ordered in addition to the case. The case size is displayed on the product page (i.e. 3, 6 or 12).
If your order is less than 12 bottles, shipping is charged as per your postcode. This charge amount will be visible on the payment page before you confirm and pay for your order.
Depending on where you are located, your wine will be shipped with either Australia Post's Wine Delivery Service or specialist wine delivery service Anonymous Wine Freight.
