From the outset, Brut Premier affirms its personality and seduction. The texture is full and generous and, in a fairly unexpected way, integrates characteristics of maturity associated with fruitier and more refreshing notes. Its structured texture, richness, and length are distinctly winey. It is a full, complex wine that is both rich and powerful, whilst remaining a great classic. The freshness, finesse, and brightness of Brut Premier make it the perfect wine for festive occasions.

Colour: Pale golden yellow in colour with a delicate persistent bead.

Bouquet: Rich yet subtle bouquet of hawthorn, almonds and toast.

Palate: The inclusion of reserve wines gives wonderful complexity and roundness to thefresh creamy palate. Champagne Louis Roederer Brut Premier strikes a perfectbalance between the structure and fruitiness of the Pinot Noir and the fi nesse of theChardonnay.

WINEMAKER'S COMMENTS
Every year, we seek to produce a Brut Premier which achieves the perfect balance between freshness and indulgence with a delicate yet rich style, both youthful yet mature, with a distinctive texture that is equally well-suited to aperitif drinking and gastronomy.

"A pretty note of apple blossom runs through this elegant Champagne, which is bright and juicy, offering flavours of green and yellow apple, tangerine and ground ginger, with a hint of graham cracker. Shows lovely texture, with a mouthwatering finish."

Seamless and silky, showing an almost effortless sense of complexity, with notes of lemon and pear paired with toasty brioche, fresh ginger and hazelnut details. Drink now. Tim Fish, top100.winespectator.com

The true star of Roederer, and by far the cheapest, this is quintessential winter champagne. Three-fifths pinots, some old oak maturation and bottle aged for three years add honeyed richness, butterscotch, brioche and cinnamon, finessed with a cut of lemon.

Producers notes

Champagne Louis Roederer, founded in 1776, remains one of the very rare family Champagne businesses. For two centuries, six succeeding generations have been inspired by the same concern for quality. Frederic Rouzaud took up the reins in early 2006 from his father Jean-Claude Rouzaud who remains Chairman of the Board. Jean-Claude, grandson of Madame Camille Olry-Roederer and himself a trained Oenologist had led the company for 38 years, and is referred to as the 'Sage' of Champagne (the wise man of Champagne).

Frederic has spent the past 10 years working with his father in all areas of product1ion and business and will bring his great business acumen and academic background to the company. Louis Roederer is unique in Champagne owning two-thirds of the vineyards for their total product1ion covering the Pinot Noir sub regions of "Montagne de Reims" and "Vallee de la Marne" with Chardonnay from the "Cotes des Blanc". By 1995, recent acquisitions had increased Louis Roederer's holding from 180 hectares to almost 190 hectares, ranking 97.5% on the official classification scale.

Shipping

Delivery is currently free of charge for both straight and mixed cases Australia Wide. (*excludes remote postcodes in WA and NT) (*excludes fundraising orders)

In most instances, a case is 12 bottles, including all mixed cases. Please note that the case quantity can vary between 3-12 bottles, depending on individual wine value and packaging configuration.

The number of bottles that define a straight case is marked in the product pricing page (i.e. "as part of any 6", "single bottle" and "3 or 6 or 12 bottle case").

Where all or part of the order is less than a case (as defined in the product pricing options, or 12 bottles if mixed) shipping will be charged as per your postcode at our cost price, this charge amount will be visible before your order confirmation and payment.

For example, a mixed bottle order of 18 bottles will include a freight charge for the second mixed case of only 6 bottles. A mixed 24 bottle order would be totally freight free.

Our intention is to offer free shipping to as many wine lovers as possible, however, given the geographically vast size of Australia, it is not possible for us to offer free shipping to 100% of postcodes.
