Kreglinger Vintage Brut Rose Pipers Brook - Tasmania
Bottle size: 750ml

This wine has a bright, pale rose blush, and a very fine persistent bead. Its colour and aromas indicate remarkable freshness and vitality. Crusty bread notes combine with nuances of baked strawberry tart and quince jelly to underscore a palate that is generous yet elegant. Its ripe fruit characters and pastry/marzipan confection complexity are dry, creamy and beautifully sustained.
This wine is sourced from a single, low-yielding Pinot Noir vineyard with very significant vine age, specifically established and managed for sparkling wine product1ion at Pipers Brook. South-facing slopes and close proximity to the sea give the vines much more of a chill than neighbouring table wine blocks.
This is a magnificent food wine with char-grilled vegetables, white meats and shellfish, and fresh game such as duck or quail.
Kreglinger Wine Estates Australia produces a range of world class cool climate wines from its own wineries located on estate vineyards at Mount Benson on the Limestone Coast of South Australia and Pipers Brook in Tasmania. Over two hundred years of European heritage is combined with meticulous viticultural and winemaking practice to create one of the world's premier sparkling wines.
The dramatic vineyard slopes of the Pipers Brook region, cooled by gentle ocean breezes provide an ideal climate for ultra premium sparkling wine product1ion. The deep, free draining volcanic soils, characteristic of the region, are critical to the vine prosperity and are largely responsible for the wines' intensity. Whilst a slow and mild ripening period enables the grapes to develop a full spectrum of flavours, resulting in sparkling wines with rare richness and concentration.
