The Granato by Foradori owes its name to an ideal combination of two fruits, vine and pomegranate, which in this wine assume charm, beauty and surprising intensity. The Garnet is derived from grapes Teroldego of especially concentrated and dense, whose origin is lost in legend: the term, in fact, appears to be related to the phonetics of the spoken thirty people and to being a grape grown in the borderlands with Tyrol .

The Garnet is born as a symbol of the cultural identity of the area and has its roots in the territory in which it is grown; an area formed by the alluvial sediments washed down by the river Noce, and which offers visitors an extraordinary landscape in which the vines Teroldego come to life on delicate and evocative hills.

This strip of land, put a guard of two languages and two cultures, the Tyrol and Trentino, is the home of Elizabeth Foradori, who, with the support of his mother is Gabriella, began to make the first research and experiments on the vine way back in 1985. The production of Granato is now the company's commitment and passion for the cultivation of vines, which led to the birth of this intense wine, flavors and unique flavors.

Producers notes

Our awareness of nature's rhythms and cycles has been perfected through observation over time: each season opens new horizons, every day we learn and understand a little more.

We have learnt to pay attention, to grasp the subtle differences existing in nature and to preserve the true character of the grape in the expression of its land of origin.

Our daily farming gestures are elevated to creative impulses: it is our duty and privilege to wake up every morning and to be free to work according to the message that the earth conveys to us in that moment. We work surrounded by mountains, cultivating Teroldego and Pinot Grigio on alluvial soils of the Campo Rotaliano, Nosiola and Manzoni Bianco on the calcareous-clayey hills of Cognola.

We are certified by Demeter since 2009.

Shipping

Delivery is currently free of charge for both straight and mixed cases Australia Wide. (*excludes remote postcodes in WA and NT) (*excludes fundraising orders)

In most instances, a case is 12 bottles, including all mixed cases. Please note that the case quantity can vary between 3-12 bottles, depending on individual wine value and packaging configuration.

The number of bottles that define a straight case is marked in the product pricing page (i.e. "as part of any 6", "single bottle" and "3 or 6 or 12 bottle case").

Where all or part of the order is less than a case (as defined in the product pricing options, or 12 bottles if mixed) shipping will be charged as per your postcode at our cost price, this charge amount will be visible before your order confirmation and payment.

For example, a mixed bottle order of 18 bottles will include a freight charge for the second mixed case of only 6 bottles. A mixed 24 bottle order would be totally freight free.

Our intention is to offer free shipping to as many wine lovers as possible, however, given the geographically vast size of Australia, it is not possible for us to offer free shipping to 100% of postcodes.
