Intense ruby red hue. The nose reveals intense and complex aromas of ripe fruits underpinned by a touch of smoke and spice. The smooth attack gives way to a full-bodied, elegant palate.
The "Les Fuées" parcel is situated in the North of the village, just after Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru. Exposition East, South-East Soil Clay-limestone Grape Variety Pinot Noir
"A tightly woven texture embraces the cherry, black currant, spice and mineral flavors embedded here. Mint hints and floral accents add depth as this cruises to a long conclusion. Excellent acidity drives the fresh aftertaste. Best from 2023 through 2045. 30 cases imported."
Founded in 1825, Bourgognes Faiveley has been handed down from father to son for over 175 years. As the sixth generation to take the reins, François Faiveley manages, with equal amounts passion and competence, the largest family domaine in Burgundy. Methodically reconstructing vineyards fractured by French inheritance laws, Bourgognes Faiveley today owns more appellations in their entirety (monopoles) than any other domaine in Burgundy.
