The GHR Neighbours Shiraz is a blend of these three vineyards and is a mouth-filling full flavoured wine. Plums and ripe red berries on the nose and palate with spice and mocha oak characters to compliment these flavours.

After maturing in both French and American hogsheads for 20 months the barrels were blended together and the wine left to settle and naturally clarify before bottling. The French and American oak characters compliment the sweet fruit mid palate concentration and the range of red berry fruit characters & soft drying tannin highlight the finish.

Producers notes

We've been blessed by being able to call our little "patch of dirt" here on Gods Hill Road our home. God's Hill Road is almost 2km long, and runs along a small hill range to the west of Lyndoch Valley. Along this short stretch of dirt road are some wonderful Shiraz vineyards growing on a great collection of soil types.

There's Peter Gilsmore's Max''s Vineyard on some sandy terrain with scatterings of ironstone; the God's Hill vineyard of Charlie and Carlos on some wonderful red dirt with patches of sand; Robert and Nanette Staker's vineyard of Shiraz on Benno Semmler's old property with again red earth over clay; and Wally Krieg's vineyard, much of what was planted back in the 1920's growing on some red dirt over clay and Biscay soils.

Delivery is currently free of charge for both straight and mixed cases Australia Wide. (*excludes remote postcodes in WA and NT) (*excludes fundraising orders)

In most instances, a case is 12 bottles, including all mixed cases. Please note that the case quantity can vary between 3-12 bottles, depending on individual wine value and packaging configuration.

The number of bottles that define a straight case is marked in the product pricing page (i.e. "as part of any 6", "single bottle" and "3 or 6 or 12 bottle case").

Where all or part of the order is less than a case (as defined in the product pricing options, or 12 bottles if mixed) shipping will be charged as per your postcode at our cost price, this charge amount will be visible before your order confirmation and payment.

For example, a mixed bottle order of 18 bottles will include a freight charge for the second mixed case of only 6 bottles. A mixed 24 bottle order would be totally freight free.

Our intention is to offer free shipping to as many wine lovers as possible, however, given the geographically vast size of Australia, it is not possible for us to offer free shipping to 100% of postcodes.
