Ciu Ciu Oris Falerio Bianco 2018 - Marche
Bottle size: 750ml
Some of the best value wines in Italy come from small unknown winemaking areas like the Central Italian region of Le Marche. Sure, Le Marche doesn’t have the prestige of Tuscany or Piedmont, but it does have great wines and quality certified organic producers like Ciu Ciu. Consequently It’s a hunting ground for us as we search for interesting wines to drink and offer our customers that you don’t have to hock your car to own.
This lovely dry white made from local varieties Trebbiano, Pecorino, Passerina, and just a smidge of Chardonnay, is a ripper. Interesting, zesty, textural, quietly confident, but most importantly delicious to drink. Furthermore 2018 seems like a great year for this wine.
Pitch perfect Italian dry white showing aromas and flavours of honeysuckle, fresh lychee, and brisk lemony fruit amidst some waxy nutty undertones. There’s no oak yet it still feels textural, leesy and silky with the underlying citrus punch giving it plenty of nerve and spine urging you back again and again for another sip. This is delicious and more engaging than most Italian dry whites at this modest price we’ve tried recently. A ripper…
In the enchanting hills of the Marche region, it is as if time has stood still to tell everybody of its history and origins. A little ancient world where the past lives in the present and the soundness of its traditions merges with the strength of the innovations in a constant striving for quality in its wines.
Against this background, the Ciù Ciù wine growing enterprise has developed the conviction that wine should be the most authentic expression of the land where it comes from, and this is the concept on which the company’s product1ion philosophy is based.
Delivery is currently free of charge for both straight and mixed cases Australia Wide. (*excludes remote postcodes in WA and NT) (*excludes fundraising orders)

The number of bottles that define a straight case is marked in the product pricing page (i.e. "as part of any 6", "single bottle" and "3 or 6 or 12 bottle case").
