Bekkers Petit Chablis - Burgundy
Closure: Screw cap
Bottle size: 750ml
It’s no secret that we aspire for the Bekkers red wines to be an emblem for McLaren Vale at the “pointy end” of the fine wine world. Emmanuelle’s Chablis project aims to provide our followers with Chardonnay of a similar calibre.
Since 2012 Emmanuelle has travelled back to France each vintage to make wine in Chablis for release in Australia. As you can imagine fruit from these famous vineyards is difficult to source. We are fortunate to have formed some great friendships in the region.
For early drinking, the unoaked Bekkers Petit Chablis is an introduction to the unique Chablis wine style. This is no buttery, oaky Chardonnay. Citrus flavours and smoky minerality are underpinned by great natural acidity.
This is an awesome little Chablis and highly recommended.
A STORY OF SOIL AND SOUL: The BEKKERS story is born of a rare connection with nature and a world of experience. Our wines are crafted in tiny quantities with an accent on finesse and fine texture.
They are created for people who desire product1s with a soul, those people who share our core belief: “We believe that the pleasure of treating oneself, or sharing special product1s with friends and family enhances some of the most significant moments in life.”
Consequently, BEKKERS wines uphold a promise of outstanding quality and beautiful packaging. They are a synthesis of all our experiences.
Local knowledge, patience and an artisan’s steadfast attention to detail combine to differentiate BEKKERS wine from the McLaren Vale mainstream.
As a small family wine company, we aspire to stand proud amid the world’s most coveted wines and their craftsmen.
This is a story of special wine……from the soil to the soul.
