This is a pre-release bottle, shipment arriving in July/August. Bussia Soprana here, planted in 1982. Organic farming. Importer: David Ridge

You could almost think you’re tasting a great Pinot Noir here, albeit one with a much-improved tannin structure, such is its fragrance of dried roses, mint, red cherry and sweet spice. It’s medium-bodied, deft and gently chewy, bright and precise, a tasty sort of sugared almond and liquorice flavour in the mix, strawberry and floral perfume, cool acidity, then the tannin leans in on the finish and pulls fine and chalky. The length is excellent. It feels like there’s a lot more to come.  Rated : 95+ Points

The 2016 Barolo Bussia might very well be the most impressive young Barolo I have ever tasted from Barale. The aromatics alone are magical. Sweet rose petal, orange peel, cinnamon, red cherry and chalk are some of the many aromas and flavors that soar out of the glass. A wine of translucent beauty, the 2016 captures all the allure that makes Barolo one of the world’s most coveted wines. Don’t’ miss it. (10/2020)

Enticingly fragrant, this offers heady aromas of rose, camphor, wild herb and red woodland berry. Structured and precise, the chiseled palate delivers pomegranate, juicy red cherry, cinnamon and a hint of tobacco framed in noble, refined tannins. It's well balanced, with fresh acidity. Producers notes

Delivery is currently free of charge for both straight and mixed cases Australia Wide. (*excludes remote postcodes in WA and NT) (*excludes fundraising orders)

In most instances, a case is 12 bottles, including all mixed cases. Please note that the case quantity can vary between 3-12 bottles, depending on individual wine value and packaging configuration.

The number of bottles that define a straight case is marked in the product pricing page (i.e. "as part of any 6", "single bottle" and "3 or 6 or 12 bottle case").

Where all or part of the order is less than a case (as defined in the product pricing options, or 12 bottles if mixed) shipping will be charged as per your postcode at our cost price, this charge amount will be visible before your order confirmation and payment.

For example, a mixed bottle order of 18 bottles will include a freight charge for the second mixed case of only 6 bottles. A mixed 24 bottle order would be totally freight free.

Our intention is to offer free shipping to as many wine lovers as possible, however, given the geographically vast size of Australia, it is not possible for us to offer free shipping to 100% of postcodes.
